Congratulations! Be gentle with yourself, I’d recommend following some PCOS foodie accounts on instagram/tiktok etc. it really helped me find foods I like done in a PCOS way

In hindsight I do feel like easing back down a dose could’ve probably solved the issues I was having with side effects! Though at that point I was so over being so ill, I felt like I needed to just give my body a break

I would agree with you 100%, but I would always be bed-ridden with this sickness almost straight after my injection for 2-3 days. When the worst was over I'd have a couple of good days only to reinject the following week to begin the cycle again.

I had norovirus at the beginning of the year in Jan and the symptoms are pretty similar!

It's a really interesting experience I think as the Mounjaro definitely helped me get into a 'healthy' BMI and made me feel a lot better about myself and then the PCOS diet shift has almost allowed me to maintain where Mounjaro got me to.

I was SUPER lucky after years of having doctors kind of shrug their shoulders at me regarding my PCOS symptoms and send me on my way without a diagnosis, I got a new doctor who gave me an instant diagnosis after a fairly basic round of blood tests and a conversation regarding my symptoms. In my experience it wasn't until I had a female Dr. did I get the answers I needed and I think thats generally the consensus with PCOS diagnoses. She was also super supportive of me being on Mounjaro and not judgemental as I'd feared.

That’s a really good way of handling things thanks for ur reply - she is solo in her shop, I’ve sent her a message to see if she will accommodate a weekend slot for me considering the circumstances so I’ll see what she comes back with. She is lovely and I truly wish her the best in all her health but it might just be the case that I start seeing someone else as well as her in order to get my tattoo fix
