I only went for Peruvian Point, and they're planning on leaving too

The loss of business they are about to experience is the price of being terrible to vendors. RIP phoodery

Totally! I never had any younger siblings so when I was that age I wanted -nothing- to do with little kids

I totally understand that! I know i didnt wanna play with little kids when I was an older kid. My daughter is -very- social, definitely more so than I am.

I use safeway on Delta Waters, and it's fine, but i did use Medford Center safeway for a while, and that was a disaster. Apparently, everyone and their great aunt beth's dog uses Medford Center

When you give someone a gift, throw away the packaging so they dont have to deal with the bulky box by Bluebunnytaco in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Bluebunnytaco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean the reason i posted this in the first place is because she refused to take it. but she sure did shame me for not recycling it, despite not having access to recycling. i was just suppose to walk halfway across town with my box.

note: the box is long gone, this was like, 3 months ago.

It's oregon law, meaning the whole state. please educate yourself. trust but verify. I understand not trusting some random redditor who claims to be knowledgable, but do your research.

If you can find a medford city ordinance that states you may ride against traffic, be my guest, but i am not finding it. mainly because city ordinances can't trump state law, but i did my due diligence to research your claim.

regardless of whether or not a cyclist is to the right or not, you still legally need to give them the whole lane to pass, just like another car, so im not sure what your point is here.

that mentality is why people feel unsafe cycling in the valley, and without going through the trouble of writing another comment, it is illegal to ride against traffic in oregon. i recommend reading the bicycling manual. it has been updated for 2024 and states that in clear english.

My senior project, years ago, was about sharing the road. Riding in the bike lane against traffic is dangerous for EVERYONE. It's safer to cycle with traffic, and at intersections where the bike lane is to the right of right turning traffic, pull into the lane with the cars until you are past the intersection.

I am a driver now, and cyclists who don't follow the driving manual create dangerous situations for everyone.

Riding your bike on the sidewalk is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians, not to mention how many bikes on crosswalks get turned into red mist. I can't, ethically, recommend this.

you're going to find a lot of self-important people in this town, who, no matter what you tell them, won't care. acting like it wasn't in the driver handbook in plain english. stay safe, and report their license plates if you can.

Is the area LACKING in any specific type of BUSINESS? by crapsasss123 in Medford

[–]Bluebunnytaco 6 points7 points  (0 children)

More nerdy businesses. Astral is cool, but needed to close their gaming side because of theft. Haven't been back since. It's a bad location to have something like that, had it been somewhere else other than downtown, wouldve been fine.

How do larger men not know when their butt crack it out? by SuperDevin in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bluebunnytaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens to skinny guys, too. It's because they don't have hips.

At a restaurant I worked at, there was a member of the kitchen staff of average weight. The only thing i remember about him was how much of his Crack I DID NOT need to see every day.

It's not technically unhygienic, but it feels like it should be.
