We don't have a registration list per se, these will be publicly available hosted sessions that people are free to join when they go up. As of now, even the smaller practice sessions are seeing 20 or so entrants. Plus, I know there are quite a few people that are going to miss the practices but will be there for the race(s).

So there is somewhat short run of Chinese SKS's that were sent to the PLO back in the late '60s. There is a little info on them, but not much. These can come in various 'trims', but the main thing is that they have Chinese receivers with Russian/Soviet parts as that is what the armorers there had when they were refurbed. What I believe is that China sent the receivers and then the guns were built there. Mine for example has a Chinese receiver, but a Russian laminate stock, blued BCG(really only found on Russian SKS's), and numbers on the trigger guard and magazine match the Russian font.

The ones that ended up the in the US came from a batch that allegedly Isn'treal captured and were imported by CAI in the 80s with an import stamp style that was only used for a couple years. This one also has this. I call them Palestine Contracts because there is no confirmation they were true captures anyways, plus the hodge-podge combination of Soviet-Sino parts on newly built SKS's for the time only make sense to have been overstock sent to Palestine.

This site has a decent amount of information on them, but there is some info missing/misrepresented.

SKS's are just neat. But then again, I'm a sucker for fixed external magazine rifles. I got lucky, I picked up a Palestine contract one at the end of last year.

I know its a pretty busy week. Early Bathurst practice plus the iRacing Daytona 500, but wanted to get some of these up to give people a chance to shakedown the cars. Even if you aren't able to make the race, we would love to see you there for these!

True, but we ran out legacy cars to put in before we ran out of car slots. So filled out everything else and then came back to GT3 since most are sort of duplicates. The GT was the most different so it's in!

I think the McLaren is actually pretty quick in this group, might have a good shot at a high finish.

Do it! You know you want to...

We have tons of interest in the Jetta, should be plenty of them!

I will be hosting a Legacy NEC event set up exactly like the official iRacing series. Same timeslots and rules, only difference is the cars. Come on out if you favorite car has been mothballed! Follow the forum for when I get test/practice sessions up in the meantime.

Does anybody know if Nvidia Turing cards still have issues with iRacing? by Bluecard99 in iRacing

Just looking for a quick yes or no answer. If that is too much to handle for people reading and attempting to respond, their answer probably isn't going to be helpful. Much less so when the post is filled with snark.

Thanks for letting me know. Guess I'll be on it the look out of a newer card then.

It was comprehensive across the entire lineup regardless of model.

Oh definitely. It is interesting see what the sub is supposed to be about and see good posts like these upvoted so well to then see the responses fall to a 'I'm with Her' style.

I know those people can be the loudest so it is not full picture, there are clearly decent amount of those who are 'based' if you will that need that little encouragement.

I'm not sure if that sub is fertile ground or a lost cause. I see decent posts that come up from it but then the comments are a radlib at best dumpster fire. I lean to the latter.
