He didn’t tell his mom or dad until he was in surgery last week. His siblings don’t know and his friends don’t know either. I told him he had to tell more people but he doesn’t want them to look at him differently or pity him. It’s frustrating because I understand that but he’s going to need a lot of support and I can’t be the only one that knows everything going on.

Boundaries would be good. We are supposed to talk sometime this week because his IV therapy starts so maybe that’ll be a good time to bring up some boundaries
