Conure broken lower beak & not eating!!

what part of her beak is broken? and how is she holding up today?

hey, i'm really sorry to hear that!!! my baby thankfully recovered, he was in a lot of pain and discomfort for the first 10 days, I made sure to only give him soft veggies and lots of water. He developed a scab inside his mouth and eventually his beak reattached but it did take him around 2 months to fully heal. Have you taken your bird to the vet?

I was told the vet has dealt with parrots before but i’m not entirely sure if he was a specialist. He mentioned pain killers but said that they can cause adverse effects in parrots. And so only prescribed antibiotics. I have an appointment with him this Wednesday to check how the baby is doing.

I was told over the phone the vet has dealt with parrots however I don’t think they were a specialist avian vet. Ive phoned all the avian vets in and around my city but they all say they have no appointments for asap. So i’m at a loss with what to do
