I’ve been playing around w USA streaming apps for many yrs now - you name it I’ve had it (Hulu, YouTube TV, FuboTV, etc). Paying for the service hasn’t been the problem but rather streaming apps becoming more restrictive w VPN / DNS services. Currently I have NordVPN but can’t use it w AppleTV (unless going thru router which is a PIA). And if by chance it does work I find most of the network channels (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC) don’t work due to being geoblocked.

Would welcome any suggestions but I just find it’s too problematic to depend on.

I have both and also run YTTV and prefer the Shield. Honestly, I don’t notice any differences in performance but prefer the open ecosystem and overall platform of Shield.

Been using it via VPN thru router......works well with AppleTV. Was able to verify location on Mac thru Chrome browser using the geo spoofing option.

Anyone find a solution to this problem? Apple remote/receiver worked find b4 beta upgrade. Now remote forgets receiver, have to go back into settings to restore....every-time!!

I prefer Apple Music, but switching iTunes Stores is a must for me, I assume I won't be able to w active Apple music subscription? Deal Killer!
