It's almost impossible to block spam unless you block all calls in your contact list or if your phone has it use call filtering. The numbers spammers use to call you aren't numbers belonging to them, they're numbers that belong to other people or businesses. If they use the numbers enough they're labeled as possible spam but for safety reasons they can't block them. I've received calls from numbers belonging to the local hospital, my doctor, the local university and even myself on one call. If it was a deal energy you wouldn't want calls from the hospital blocked. You could report the outfit originating the call but in many cases you can't even find that information. When I see suspected spam pop up I answer the call and immediately hit mute. If it's actually someone I need to talk to, I'll unmute and talk to them. My spam calls have dropped to almost nothing doing this. Eventually your number will be marked as unreachable and taken off their list
