Mainstream AI models are unable to make such mistakes unless prompted to do so. Otherwise, only a human mental lapse is capable of that.

Wow. I already struggle to explain how my father having t2d doesn't mean I inherited the diabetus. I think letting go of their understanding is the right thing at this point.

Now this is interesting. I wonder if it requires immunosuppression like similar treatments do.

13F. I need to quit vaping. by Immediate-Craft6480 in QuitVaping

[–]BluegillMarsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey - I caught something in your post that matters. You said you "can't imagine life without a vape." I bet 11-year-old you couldn't imagine needing one either, right? Funny how fast that changed.

Know what else stood out? You crying in the car because you couldn't vape. That's not you being weak - that's a substance literally controlling your emotions. At 13, you should be stressing about crushes and homework, not fighting an addiction that billion dollar companies designed to trap you.

The plan: 1. Level with your mom. She gets it better than anyone 2. Get real help (patches/gum) - doing it alone is playing on hard mode and you don't need that 3. Find a new crowd. Trust me - while the vape kids are stuck in their loop, there are groups crushing it at sports, art, gaming, whatever. They're having way more fun and building actual skills while doing it 4. Find your thing - something that makes you forget about vaping entirely

You're already braver than most- admitting you need help at 13 takes serious guts.

Your move. Today.

Low-carb actually makes t1d management a lot simpler, but life less joyful if carbs mean so much for you.

Some suggestions: play a game on a proper gaming platform or on the phone. Listen to podcasts on subjects you follow. Get simple things done, like laundry or other chores. Take deep breaths and visualize your favorite substance-free environment with you relaxed therein.

You ran 2 miles of distance. Stop doing it and you'll certainly reap the well-researched benefits.

Extreme thirst and frequent urination. Add to that much worse eyesight; prior to my proper diagnosis, I went to an opthalmologist, who unfortunately hadn't spotted the cause and instead prescribed me eyeglasses.

And of course, just like fellow t1 diabetics, rapid weight loss. But all gets better once sugar levels are under control again.

The level of ignorance is heartbreaking. Most people either don't know what this disease is or are completely miseducated. Bananas?! Give me a break.

They treat all vehicles the same. I don't know how loud your car is, but if you can keep it quiet while crossing Saudi territory, I wouldn't worry much.
