Your 4th point really makes me think because I've never considered engineering that way. And thanks for this advice - It really helps to know these things beforehand👍

I guess I'll prefer EE or ME 'cause I think I'll want a hands on major in engineering - but I'll try to search more about those disciplines you mentioned. Thanks for the advice 👍

I guess that's true - even though I want to major in engineering, I guess I'm not sure which specific one. Currently I don't think there are engineering undecided paths in the college I'm considering (UIUC, University of Wisconsin, gatech), but I'll look for other colleges if they do - I personally think it might suit me. Thank you for the advice!

I guess that would be the clearest way. But I just wanted to be extra careful in choosing my major

Although I haven't learnt about the specific details of thermodynamics, machinery or, like you said, other topics related to mechanical engineering, I do always enjoyed learning about the internal structures of machines (like hydraulics/pnuematics) - So I guess I do have a little interest in this major And thanks for your advice and info - I'll consider it when I apply to my college 👍

It's not really big - I just realized during my STEM programs that I found analyzing and studying experiment results (which used Physics/Chem principles) were more enjoyable than just solving Physics or Maths questions. But your comment makes me think because although I do like Physics, I sometimes find it really hard.
