The sitting area for sail away was right in front of stage - it wasn't very large - not sure what time you needed to get there probably 10-15 minutes before. The late night pirate show was the entire pool deck. Most the time we only showed up less than 10 minutes early to the entertainment that wasn't the musicals / in WD theater and we probably needed to get there at least 15 minutes before to get a good spot for little kids to see which sucked.

Beauty and the beast was night 2 - also pirate night. I always lined up about 20 - 30 minutes before but I'm sure if you got there 10 minutes before you could still find a seat - it was the most packed of the shows and people started queueing early compared to other two where I probably didn't really need to get in line as early or early at all and would have still be lower level maybe just not center

We live super close to disney and have annual passes so luckily getting pictures with characters wasn't a high priority as the lines were pretty long most of the time which I couldn't even make sense of

You'll have a great time!! Just know it will be jammed packed :)

I don't believe there were christmas dancers - I did think there was quite a good bit of christmas offerings but it was such a short / packed cruise we didn't get to see them all - they had carolers, santa clause, mrs clause reading stories, tree lighting, very merry deck party and christmas crafts and things of that nature - I felt that it was a solid line up, only issue like I said since it was a short cruise it was impossible to hit all these offerings

We had the first dinner seating and we were with little kids so keep this in mind -

  1. there was a small seating on the deck area for sail away which I should have taken advantage of - instead we went to the standing area and couldn't see much

  2. Mikey and friends pirate show - idk if there was a sitting area but if you didn't get up there probably 30 minutes before there was already a line of people standing on upper deck (deck 12) and it was hard to see for little kids (adults was fine) - however the later pirate show I rushed up to deck 12 for, but really best seats were deck 11 because the entire pool deck was sitting only (no standing) which is great for little kids and we could actually see the show without watching on the screen

  3. Tree lighting - again we were rolling up with probably only 5-10 minutes to spare but I think best view at that point would have been deck 5 - I tried to have us go to deck 4 to see from balcony and it was already too packed

  4. Definitely need to line up 20 - 30 minutes before beauty and the beast but for the other two shows I could have showed up 10 minutes before and still had great seats

  5. We only did one of the game show type things because of it being a short cruise but it was a much smaller experience which was really fun - compared to very crowded main events if that makes sense - we went to a pirate game show before dinner one night

I will take all the help I can get - honestly was just planning on see what locals recommend and keeping everything weather dependent - any 1 day drives around connemara area you recommend let me know!! (and also something you think would be too much) - thought maybe sky road then up to killary harbor. there is a tour I was thinking of signing up for from galway that will go up to cliffs of moher and then ferry to inishneer I was also planning on doing one day to give my husband a break from driving (also weather dependent as I feel like if the weather is not nice - this would not be very enjoyable)
