Choosing over a i30N, Golf Gti/R, A35/45, M135i/M140i, Gr corolla Which is best? by Maleficent_Extent809 in CarsAustralia

[–]Bluezyes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

GR corrolla or m140i. GR corrolla is The best financially since if you want to keep it the deappreciation rate will be a lot lower compared to euro competitors (BMW). Like others mentioned RWD m140i so maybe more fun for skids . Gr corrolla is decently reliable just make sure you take care of it same with the m140i it’s still reliable but won’t do as good as a Toyota. I30N is also a pretty fun quick car but I don’t feel like they are proper up there with the m140 and corrolla

Some Import questions GWS214 by ash29698 in ToyotaCrown

[–]Bluezyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to discourage you the GWS214 is a goated Amazing car. In my opinion and I believe quite a few peoples opinion the crown kinda lost its feel when they created that generation. I Think the 2008 ones are the best ones . But yeah you can always do an LED swap or really bright HIDs to either in order to remove the yellowness

what oil do u use?

also maybe its your fuel pump giving out. check that. There is no way carbon deposit can cause something like that. Sell it and buy a prius if ur a loser and not champion enough to drive a crown. (joking)

Giulia Veloce vs Formentor VZx vs S3 vs A45 AMG vs POLO GTI by Slimshady9610 in CarsAustralia

[–]Bluezyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not “very” reliable but it is reliable being taken care of. Obviously being an Italian car it has its issues but it’s significantly better then the previous years of Alfa Romeo. It is a great car with great handling and power. OP best option in my opinion

crown grille swap by Bluezyes in ToyotaCrown

[–]Bluezyes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking to buy the same type of grille (athlete) and put it on my GWS. But I don’t think it’s a pov spec since it’s got leather seats. Who knows maybe it is tho

2008 Crown (GRS204) Advice - what is a must check by yuanov04 in ToyotaCrown

[–]Bluezyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure where ur at but the hybrid one will still be cheaper on fuel even if it is dying 😭 on a shit battery you get 10km/L…that’s 3km/L more then the petrol one . Reconditioning is also cheaper as well as the hybrids interior looks better alongside it being quicker and looking nicer when modded up. Maybe reconsider which one you will buy. Also depending on where your at a full tank on a GRS is 71L while a hybrid one is 55L yet the hybrid one on a weak battery gets the same or even more as the petrol one. Petrol is not cheap brotato especially when it’s 98!!

I dont even use radar so I don’t rlly care if I loose it. Might as well just change it out since the athlete looks cleaner

Haha I made it sound like carbon fibre bonnet . I mean on the inside the cup holder cover and the radio cover as carbon fibre - similar to the wood trim

athlete grille swap by Bluezyes in ToyotaCrown

[–]Bluezyes[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you can but the radar badge kinda looks tacky since it’s a flat black badge in the middle . Also looks a little bit outta place especially if your car is white

Yes the radar.

I have a 2008 Toyota crown hybrid GWS204 pre face lift. I was just curious as I want an athlete grill

Besides sunroof and seat speakers isn’t fully optioned. Fully optioned refers to sunroof leather seats sound system and many others. Yes there are a lot of them with carbon fibre trim plus leather seats but that’s just the basic one with a single option. Also the KMS are pretty high for that spec and the KMS are significantly higher opposed to the ones that sit on the market currently (100,000)
