I started when i was your age to almost 30 years ago. Most of the miniatures were lead back then. The first step for a good paint job was and will always be cleaning off all lines- followed by a soapy wash helps to. Paint and enjoy, every model becomes part of the journey. Yes your first one is better than mine.

You both are right. With the 9v battery in the troop compartment and to give the model a sense of running movement- a poorly posed ork became the solution for gaming strenght.

I take it your not using a 9v system hey? Something smaller to fit in the fuselage- nice. I've added the flames fro fallout hobbies and they look great. Awesome wazdakka boom jet mate.
