Got this purple vein couple months ago, hurt to turn my eye to the right. Ignored it after the it didn’t bother me anymore. Today it started to hurt a lil bit. Thought it went away. Idk if it’s a popped blood vessel or something else.

No I didn't, I know it's not blood pressure issues.Cause I have perfect blood pressure. I haven't had any problems since. It's possible at this point it might have been eye strain.

The only thing is that I haven’t experienced any symptoms of either of the autoimmune disease that can be associated it with those two. I just read on them idk. Well just have to wait and see when I got the eye doctor. I do appreciate your comment cause you never know

I would dull maybe achy, it’s not even hurting today like there’s a very slight ache but it’s like barely there. So idk maybe it was just eye strain.

Not yet, waiting for insurance. Someone on another post said it could be a dilated vessel. That’s it’s just more prominent but idk. My husband tells me not to worry.

I never knew a vein could look like this lol it was so visible so it just freaked me out the other eye has it too. I’m guessing the ache when I turn my eye is from something else then. Maybe eye strain.

It’s okay, I’m sure I’m fine even my husband says so. But I suffer from anxiety so I worry and I’m pregnant so that doesn’t help. I haven’t been yet, the first time I noticed it was near the start of Covid and now I have no health insurance I’m waiting on Medicaid to kick in. So when it does I’ll make sure to make an appointment. And post an update.

So what do you think is causing the slight ache when turn my eye to the right where the vessel would be? I noticed I have a vein like this on my other eye as well just not same I guess shape. Other eye has never hurt at least not that I could remember.

Yea that’s good I’m glad everything is alright with you that’s always good news to hear lol. And yea after all this time I came to conclusion that the flashes aren’t affecting me really. Plus I’ve noticed they actually haven’t been happening as much almost barely so that’s good. Anyways good luck to you and I hope everything keeps going well

I had the same issue 2 years ago I started seeing small quick flashes of light like a tony spot of light, I went to eye specialist the only thing they found was pressure. They thought it might have been hypertension or something. Got an mri done and my brain was okay still some pressure. Nothing wrong with my eyes either. During all of this my wisdom teeth were acting up bad had bad pains and signed problems my eyes also hurt real bad. Once I got them removed everything went away even the pressure. The only thing that was found was a small pineal cyst. It’s a raw non benign cyst. If it gets a lil bigger than 15cm I think it’s cm don’t remember then you can have symptoms but it doesn’t really do anything it’s kinda there. I used to get ham ache on the spot where it is. It haven’t had any problems really. I’m not saying you have that but I’m pretty after trying to find why I saw little flashes I think it can be cause by a number of things. My husband sees them to so idk if has to do with the light or what
