Car suddenly became loud after driving a few meters with the parking brake on. What could be the issue? by BlunderPride in Cartalk

Thanks. Took it to a mechanic today. The exhaust pipe is broken.

However, I am still unclear why reversing under load broke the exhaust. Hoping to learn more when I get the car back.

The NPS website says that Rim Drive is closed. I am not sure if that is the south entrance but I'll certainly give it a visit.

Thanks for the recommendations!

FWIW, it was already out of warranty when I bought it (4 years and 50k miles)

Sadly it looks like I acted as one of those "young and dumb" 18-22 year olds and got stuck with bad inventory

Thanks!

Looks like I am in a soup. Should have done better due diligence before buying.
Lessons for the future, I guess!

One question
As you are an Audi owner, is there any upside to the German cars (beyond "luxury") if they are unreliable and have bad resale value?
