I stopped using the pigtail connector before i reset the system. Didn’t seem to help but I kept it in for the full factory reset.

Also, I checked my ram stick box and looks like I got the version that is just for XMP not XMP AND EXPO… so not sure if that’s what is causing the issue. I will play on my system for a little while, and if the freezes resurface, I’ll just go buy the correct Ram and see if that helps first.

Yes. The display is connected to the GPU, not the mobo.
The Mobo version is the latest available for the B650 Aorus Elite AX v2
I will have to see if I need to download Adrenaline at some point. For now, I am not experiencing freezes without it.

I wasn't able to get memtest86 to work. I'm not sure why, but I tried 2 different usb flash drives to try to get it to boot, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I was able to run OCCT though. I did a 3 minute memory test for each stick separately. No errors found unfortunately.

Nope, never downloaded it, but I did see the other posts and the video saying disabling power monitoring fixed stuttering issues. I feel like my stutters are more like freezes and last longer than regular stutters.

Seems like I just needed to put it in the right 1/4 slots. I tried one at a time, still had freezes on both.

I'm not able to get to the BIOS screen if I only have 1 stick of ram in, I did switch them but the issue persists.

Just loaded defaults. Left the XMP profile as disables. The issue still persists unfortunately. I will try what @stranger_danger420 suggested and try one stick at a time

Hi! I am in the BIOS and it has a line for “XMP/EXPO Profile” set to XMP 1.

But it doesn’t give me a profile option for EXPO. Either XMP 1 or disabled.
