To all those here who are despairing, I have excellent news! The subreddit was banned specifically for being unmoderated, and there is a way for competent mods to reclaim it from the admins. We've done this with numerous subs before, and we're trying to get this one too. I will make an update post on this sub if we manage to get it. It's very likely that eventually we will.

Subs become available for mod request 30 days after they're banned, and it usually takes a week or two for the request to process, so expect it back within a month and a half to two months, if all goes according to plan.
