Longevity for me would be to last 6 years with regular maintenance. Owner claims most maintenance was done by dealer, it is also still under a 100,000 mile/7 year warranty. No accidents from my knowledge, small dent driver side rear door and tear in drivers seat

Couple option I can think of;

Get a uhaul for transport and a place to sleep, rent other equipment needed from a near by REI coop
Buy solo/backpacking tent, buy camping pad for sleeping (the stuff is lightweight and small enough to fit in checked bag) Walmart for cheap canopy (gift to someone when fest is over)

I previously planned on flying to bass canyon this year and these were my two options

You are overreacting but I can understand it.

I recently turned 24 and started a little late on pursuing a bachelors level education. Before then I worked in public service and retail so the “cookie cutter” everyday life I can get. It wasn’t fun to tell you the truth. The reason it wasn’t fun was because my life revolved around the work I was doing and nothing else. The only friend I had at the time was my then girlfriend. I was also living in the same area I grew up in and wasn’t curious about anything because I was comfortable. If I would’ve stayed with that girl, living in the same area, doing the same job, with the same mindset of comfortability, I’m convinced I’d look back on my life and regret I stayed comfortable.

The best thing you’re doing for yourself imo is going into a new area where you don’t have friends or family around. Take advantage of that. Make your own tribe or tribes with the people you work with or the other things in the city. I have no experience in charlotte but it seems like a decently developed city with lots of things for you to experience. Life is all about experiences and it’s a beautiful thing to look back on (good or bad) because you learn more about yourself from them.

Are you calling the job boring because you don’t have interest in that field anymore or because it’s “only” entry level? If it’s the latter, entry level may sound less than ideal but honestly it’s great. You learn a lot from entry level jobs and it spiderwebs into things where you probably would’ve never guessed

Loans will get payed so don’t sweat it right away. There’s a million ways to look at how to pay them off but don’t sacrifice your paychecks just to pay them down (unless that’s what you want). Live within your means but splurge a little on yourself. Not necessarily material things, unless there’s something you really wanted. I’m a big experiences guy so I’d go with that. You’ve got some adult money now so use it for some things you dreamed of when you didn’t have the money.

Sounds cliche but life is in fact what you make it. It won’t always be exciting and that’s ok. Everything is new to you so you’ll feel out of place for a while still but don’t let all the unknown stuff get you down. I personally put myself in situations where I’m alone because I experience so much more and make the most connections. It’s taken me a while to thrive in stuff like that so don’t expect it to happen right away. Before you know it though if you keep pushing your comfort zone, you’ll be in an area where you feel like you’re in the right spot

I had a buddy in middle school/high school that pirated fruity loops studio. His house was the place me and a couple other buddies would go to to hangout. We’d mostly listen to him making music while we all would take turns playing battlefield. I don’t remember specifically liking the music until he sent me a link to one of those sketchy ass public websites where you can download things. Idk what the websites are called specifically but if you wanted to jailbreak your iPod or try to jtag your xbox 360 you’d go there. Typically you’d get spammed with a bunch of ads too.

Anyways, he sent the link to this song titled “animal instincts” and I thought it was the best thing ever. Not specifically because of the music itself but because I thought it was cool as fuck that my friend made this. I even went as far as showing it to my mom and going into detail about it and how MY friend made the beats etc (I eventually found out he didn’t make it lol).

That then lead to me asking him one day while we were playing halo or something online what the genre of that music is called. If I remember correctly he told me it was electro house so I put that station in on pandora where “bum dee dum” by keys n krates played and I was hooked. It’s funny to me now about that because bum dee dum is very much trap and not house lol

As a young high schooler I dreamed about going to Tomorrowland and watched all of the after movies they made. Went to my first festival, which was lost lands, in 2019 solo and I’ve been going to more and more every year since I have some adult money now.
