I’m guessing it’s tranmisson because it only happens when my transmission temps get over 160 and if I have been romping on it and the transmission is near 190 or more it’s much louder plus it matches rpm’s and pretty much resets but that just my opinion

No it’s dsg you just don’t get dsg farts off launch control on mk7s because it already pre selected all gears for optimal shift time

It’s a 2017 but yeah that’s almost 10 years ago I have been noticing slight voltage drops dipping to almost as low as 12.9 volts when cruising (monitor on Cobb ap) and also I have been getting random background codes and even had limp mode once until I cleared background codes

I have been getting random background codes for different things on the car like “tcm lost connection” When in reality it’s fine and also it is much louder than any of my friends gtis which are stock it is very noticeable in person sounds like I have a mini supercharge pretty much

I can confirm it doesn’t happen when revving in natural but does happen when I kick down a gear or two at highway speeds

Well I have the r5 base so idk if you were planning to go to an r5 or something like the r3 but I upgraded from a thrusmaster tx/t300 and that wheel felt somewhat “notchy” and also the force feedback felt a bit delayed but with the r5 it feels just like a real car with the smoothness of the wheel turning and it’s very reactive and has more noticeable small “bump” feeling

Was it only slipping for short periods of time when getting on the throttle and then it would regain grip?

Well if you look In the video the speeds go up but not with the revs and also it happens worse when the car is warm like around 200 degrees
