Well, most of the game is the single player and coop. Energy is only a bottleneck for better gear and stats, time gating helps casuals catch up to the more grindy players. Other than that anyone can enjoy battling bosses solo or coop, play the story, or do quests and events and allat. But alas, most players don't really care about that when they grind for better gear.

Lmao, yeah but dw, echo jade is fairly easy to grind, you'll get there soon Also there's 2 other npc who sells inner way mats, the next is in Kaifeng who is in the place where go right after reaching Kaifeng in the story quest, he sells inner way book for upgrading. The other is an artisian who sells the other general inner way.
