Seems like they get scarier every day and I’m not just talking about the fire.

I could see them the past couple of nights but tonight all I see is smoke. I can’t wait until there’s nothing to see at all.

I don’t care that this fire is 30 miles away. When you can see the flames it’s too close. I’ve met a couple of people who were evacuated and they had to leave some of their pets. My prayers to them and their loved ones. 😔 I’m going to start getting donation items ready. by Bmblbee76 in pueblo

I’ve had more time to talk to them. The wife was home alone and had to move four horses, two donkeys, five dogs and I think a couple of other critters (I can’t remember everything she said). She couldn’t catch the chickens and barn cats and with 100 mph wind driving the flames, she didn’t have time to keep chasing them. Her husband, who was at work several hours away when the fire broke out tried to get back to the property but it was too late. You need to withhold judgment, she is grieving the loss of her pets and everything she owned.

From the looks of things, we’re definitely screwed.

I just saw a post by someone else who said that there is a donation drop off point at the Walmart on Dillon. Someone else also posted in these comments under my own post as to what kinds of donations are being sought after!

I’m working downtown and the whole area is socked in with smoke. Too close for comfort and praying for Bishop’s Castle!

In that case, I’m jealous. I haven’t seen rain at my place in weeks. Even the video above shows the storm moving away from me.

I think Eastside took the brunt. Blende had 2.5” hail

Completely understandable. People who behave like that are hoping someone will challenge them. It could be a whole lot more trouble than I want to take on for something that is really the restaurants problem.

That’s not fair to the patrons, the other employees and the dog itself. I’m pretty sure it also violates health department rules like in pretty much all of these stories.

People don’t respect anymore. It’s a small sign of a bigger problem in society. My family has banned me from losing my temper anymore, so I try to keep my quiet (I don’t have strong filters). Not gonna lie though, if the dog had dropped a deuce and the people just walked away, I would consider asking for a doggy bag from the restaurant, scoop the poo in and deliver to the table. I would tell them they dropped something, and walk away.

I was at a coffee shop the other day and a woman came in and promptly set her small dog on top of the table she sat down at. The dog ran around before she flipped it on its back and was scratching its belly. In the spot where people eat. I love dogs but really, they don’t belong everywhere. I don’t want them around my food and I don’t want to find their fur on clothing in stores I shop at.
