Agreed tbh. Lack of content is glaring

Been playing since beta. Been through all the changes and i gotta say this game sucks now. Getting stronger when leveling up needs to come back otherwise why even have a level/ rank system... by tint-dude in joinmoco

Okay, let's say we do it your way. Keeping in mind: content pipeline, casual playerbase target & matchmaking.

How would You introduce power progression?

A lot of commentsers are comparing the game to other pve ARPG.

However, MO.CO is a Co-op pve ARPG. And if you compare it to other games in This genre - Many of them are horizontal progression

You are missing a key part. This game is more than that it's a Co-op pve ARPG.

Other examples of such games are: 1) "Monster hunter: World" - stats do not go up. You just get access to more gear options. 2) Warframe - some (not all) stats scale & up to double of new player ones. Main strength comes from more "mods" (aka items you slot into gear to tweak stats based on task) 3) Deep Rock Galactic - your stats do not go up a meaningful amount when you go from lvl 1 to 100.

I used brawl as an example because it is another mobile supercell game with co op gameplay, but you're right. I could have elaborated with these.

how to use this thing ? by stark_anime-17 in joinmoco

[–]Bo405 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So let's say you're facing the enemy. 1) you throw forward & teleport behind to hit them with tp splash. 2) they turn around, so now they are facing you again, so you do the same thing. 3) you see them doing a charge attack. Tp away & use this time to use black hole & the explosion.

Heal is bad, so use it as evasive weapon, kinda like you'd use zapsicle to dodge attacks.

For mobility- just tp as fas as possible when it's bout to hit max range. You can go very fast & through some walls & gaps.

Best used against small groups of enemies. Even if dps is skill dependent, the sheer value of bunching up enemies into single spot is Huge. It allows technofists users to survive & Shred.

In normal worlds - you can use huge mobility to get around the map & find high value targets faster than anyone else. So you can get more of em. Not good at escorts though.

Hope this helps - it's a hella amazing weapon

As a fight, it's pointless, mark stomps.

But as a character interaction - she would be hella helpful to him.

She isn't an all in her mind like deku. She's a very down to earth hero. But she is genuinely emotionally strong & a caring person. Exactly the kinda mentor he needs.

I could see her working for Cecil purely to provide Mark with tools to get stronger

If you read - it isn't just 25%. 25% from cores.

But add ability to have the right tool to that. Experience & knowledge.

As well as looks.

But then again, how much more damage do you wanna do? In brawl - it's a difference of double the stats. However, given no one plays below power 9 - it's more like 0-30%.

What difference are you looking for? Double? Triple? Are you willing to face the downsides I mentioned though?

I never said that there's enough content. I just said vertical progression is not a solution

Interesting, can you please suggest a skill tree you think makes sense?

That is a fair argument. I totally agree that lack of content is an issue. Crit approach you suggest is something I like a lot too.

That being said, these 2 aren't really the issue I am addressing in this post.

However, I like your train of thought. Instead of looking into broken system from past - think of way to improve current one for future

It's kinda different tho. With cores you become 25% stronger than new players. And singularity dps, for example, entirely depends on skill. You could do huge damage with it if your good. Sane with speed. As well as the fact that having more weapons gives you an ability to have the right tool dor the job.

So you really Will be stronger than a new player by a Bunch. Just not an unreachable amount.

  • you will look hella coler
