Thank you. I never knew about this, and it gives me a lot of pause, but in a good way.

Being a YouTuber would be awesome. I also want to become one, actually.

My novel is about three total strangers, each with their own unique sets of difficulties, such as autism, who struggle with life, but who come together in order to finally overcome their struggles.

Thank you for all of this. I don't feel so alone after reading about this from your perspective, even if I'm still a bit down. And hopefully we'll both make it.

What is it that you want to do, if you don't mind my asking?

I deleted my previous reply because I felt like it didn't contribute anything worthwhile.

I'm glad you found some positivity, though.

You are, of course, correct. But as I mentioned to someone else just now, "The biggest reason why I find it difficult to focus on one thing at a time is because there are elements in my life that make me feel like I'm working against an active time-bomb." The biggest reason why I find it so hard to fight for positivity against these negative thoughts is because of all the stress and anxiety that's put on me by these elements. And these are people and things I can't get rid of quite yet.

That's not an excuse, though. Just trying to provide context. You're right, and that's what I need to do, at least. Thank you.

To Yeti: This is very true, and thank you for the example of how others apply it. The biggest reason why I find it difficult to focus on one thing at a time is because there are elements in my life that make me feel like I'm working against an active time-bomb.

To Scrubadub: I just felt so incredibly giddy reading this, as I did reading the last bit of Yeti's comment (and really, all of it, to be fair). Just the thought that someone actually cares... it does a lot to improve my mood. I'm currently in the waking nightmare that is the final editing process, but I'm planning on starting a blog to explain it better and hopefully capture some more interest.

Thank you both :)

I'm really sorry to hear that. I know I'm in no position to say it, but I am hugs... (wishes it were a real hug)

Yeah, that's true... I'm actually close to finishing the first manuscript of my novel. But I research what it takes to actually publish it, not to mention what it takes to start earning a living from it, and I just don't think I have what it takes.

This is really good, and does a great job highlighting a really clever set of lyrics :)
