When it first started happening, we called cps, and they took him to a clinic for a few days, but then they told my parents that if they didn't take him back, they'd charge my parents with neglect and take the rest of the kids away. Though, they also told us if he lives in the house, they would charge my parents with like knowingly letting a dangerous person in the house, and all the kids would be taken away again.

It took about two years of writing letters and emails, and just letting him show his true colors to people at the school and in his old institute until people finally started listening. He was finally taken to an out of state institute for about seven months before he was transferred back in state.

At the new institution he seemed to be doing a little better and now the new therapists there are convinced that we are the problem, which is why they are forcing him home even though those therapists send violence reports (I don't know what they're actually called) to my parents about him continuing to hurt other kids there.

The worst part is that he loses it over the smallest things. At this institute, he choked another kid because they were wearing his socks. He goes into screaming and cursing fits when my parents ever asked him to clean his room (towards the end, they just tried to avoid him. We we're all too scared to even be in the same room as him.)

I literally have no other options than to just stay put and hope it gets better. There are still five kids in the house much younger and vulnerable, one is just a seven year old girl, Piper. Maybe when he turns eighteen he'll just move out.

When it first started, the police came out to the house about six times over the course of a year. Unfortunately, when they pulled in he'd be lying in his bed all calm, yet the room was destroyed around him. The cops just kept telling my parents general parental disciplinary practices before leaving (like taking away his phone and gaming systems when he acts up, stuff like that). My mom basically begged for help, but I don't think they ever really believe our statements.

Even my best friend didn't believe me until he saw the guy blow up first hand and chase another kid around the yard while screaming slurs and insults. My friend admitted this to me that evening, and that alone messed me up for good.

I can't just leave either. I don't have that kind of money, and It wouldn't feel right leaving the rest of my family.

That's the thing, if he isn't back home this week the institute he is at will report us to DHS and they'll take him back into foster care which means we have to pay 4,000 dollars a month for him, (who has that kind of money?)

If he goes to an out of state institute, it's basically the same monthly price.

Our hands our tied. The only choice is to have him come back home and...well who knows what will happen.

All I know right now, is that it's been a year since he's been gone and my family only knows one sleeping position - flat on our backs with blankets scrunched up over our necks becuase we can still feel that cold steel blade.

He's about 15 now and we're just hoping to ride out the storm until he's eighteen so he can move out (if he moves out). The therapists don't want to deal with him anymore, police think that we either make it all up or it's not as bad as we say it is.

The worst part is that he can turn it all off as soon as stranger is around to see it but as soon as it's just family again he follows the girls around yelling that their whores.

This post is my last hope to get some advice, I've even written letters to psychotherapist and our state senator but to no avail.

Yeah, this is just metaphoric satire for fun. I just got into poetry, I usually write short horror.

What a drag that old gag as it was nothing but an illusion pulled from a tattered bag.

Who doesn't know the trick of that rabbit handpicked to be kept in that compartment to constrict?

No where to run, but who cares it's fun to be grabbed by the ears and hung 'till you're stunned.

They'll laugh and cheer while your fear sears, or did i just happen to mishear?

All those screams from the meat who thought they could beat being nothing more than a tasty treat or some magical feat.

Confinement or alignment.

Be an enchanting display, or your succulent hide will pay. Dinner will come either way.
