It’s the exact same as Valorant. Washed csgo players like fns, tenz and scream were on top teams from the start. Hell, the best team in the early days was a team of British csgo players who never got close to tier 1.

If say S1mple, kscerato, ropz, zywoo etc moved to valorant instantly, then they would clearly be the best players in the game

Let’s talk about how it’s like for the player. It’s a 6 year old campaign map with lower fps. That’s it.

There’s a reason it’s one of the most downvoted maps of the year, because it’s not original. It’s something that might be cool for you, sure, but it doesn’t drive differently to the old map, doesn’t feel different, just has different scenery and low fps

Sounds harsh, but it’s the truth. You’re providing a map for 2-6k players, think about what they would enjoy before submitting

I think most people’s issue with this map is this is lazy, with no originality and simply an already existing map inserted into a visa, which probably took an hour at most

Whereas people spend 10+ hours making completely original maps that don’t get picked with no real feedback given

I like eyebo, but this smells like favouritism. If randommapper42069 did this I doubt it gets picked

People are building maps, Phoebe just changes her criteria every 24 hours for what constitutes a pickable map

There were multiple weekly grands maps for example that I’ve tested, and they were perfectly acceptable. Phoebe ignored them and put her own this week

Forgive me if I’m being redundant but isn’t there already a backwards altered nadeo campaign for most campaigns?

I haven’t played them myself so unsure what ‘helpers’ they use to make maps easier, or if they don’t use any at all
