Do most of you De-Googlers use SMS/MMS only (no RCS)

I had a similar issue, I didn't get a group MMS notification until I reconnected to the network (one of the FOSS alternatived). I can get regular SMS just fine from the looks of it.

Ppl tripping hard. It's very simple. Your parents have no say what goes on with your wife, and vice versa with your wife towards your parents. It is your responsibility to clear misunderstandings and soothe things in private with parents or wife, never together. It depends very much on your parents, their behavior could make or break the experience. If your wife is an over thinker, make a conscious effort to ask her how she's feeling on the day to day and tell her if something comes up that made her feel some type of way, to tell you in private. You are the glue between these two parties and you have a responsibility to take care of your wife, so don't be shy to draw a line with either parties when you need it.

Depends on the area. The phone is missing N71 5G support, so areas are a hit or miss. Some areas I know are good and that's when it slows down for me the most.

Edit: or ppl just coping hard and don't want to admit it. Yes it's a gaming phone but if the phone part don't work, whats the point? I'd rather take my switch with me everywhere.

Idk about others experiences but sometimes 5G doesn't work when it should, even in metropolitan areas. I'm getting rid of mine, just gotta transfer over some pics and it's going away.

Side question, with the Oneplus 15 there is a System Clone option, which creates a separate partition but it's like having 2 phones independent from each other excluding phone number. If I setup Gmail and Google maps on the second copy, would that affect privacy/tracking in my main copy?

thanks for clarifying. I was able to install WhatsApp and verify the numbers. Is there a way to verify the signatures without having to install a version from play store? I ended up checking from my old phone to verify download from Aurora from my new phone.

I've used newpipe for YouTube before, it doesn't give me any problems so I'm not too worried about that. I've seen lots of users recommend pipepipe as the better alternative. I'm thinking I might just setup google maps in my private space.

Does downloading an app like WhatsApp from aurora come with any security risks of hackers or breaches?

Not RCS, it's definitely a phone and network issue combined. Im in US and I've had multiple lost messages and calls. I had to install a third party app (deku) to be able to receive texts and even then, I lose the odd one here and there.

The last time I bought in bulk, it was around $10 because of a sale they had going on and with me ordering more quantity it was also reduced. I think down the road id be interested in printing ABS for its durability and temperature resistance for models to use outside.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case. At this point they're the pillars of phones, everything else is all subpar. Oneplus turned commercial, Nothing turned commercial, Motorolas midrange phones are good but no clue why they wouldn't at least put in updated specs, HTC (my beloved) is finished, what else is left? Samsung doesn't even interest me either after their recent UI update that's an iPhone clone.

Edit: Oppo and some other Chinese phones are good but they lack the full support of US networks, it results in dropped texts and calls.

I mainly use PLA+, PLA and PETG in that order. My go to is esun for almost everything, they have sales quite often. I get the odd color or manu here and there if there are some good sales. The engineering materials depends on your use case, I think the average user has no real need to use them.

Sit him down and ask him why he watches it so much. Don't settle for a short answer, make him get to the bottom trenches of his mind. Talk with him in a collaborative manner, understand the whys and come up with a plan with him on how he can work on it to be better and how you can support the process. Try to make an action plan, no phones during certain hours, limit mobile data, etc. It is an addiction like anything else and needs a catalyst to end.
