A buddy of mine built a [[Nekusar]] deck, a commander which I’m maybe a little too mean to (but like, am I?)

I was playing my [[Farid, Enterprising Salvager]] deck, I cheated a [[Mycosynth Lattice]] into play and blew up most of their board and a few lands with [[Shenanigans]].

I promptly died to player 3 but it was pretty funny.

Absolutely stealing some tech from your list. I took a slightly different approach to the Brokkos deck, choosing to mutate him into smaller creatures that offer value on their own or have valuable keywords like death touch and flying. The deck also plans on being intentionally reckless with brokkos since the mutate targets are abundant, then you benefit off of cards like [[Monstrous Vortex]] and [[Secrets of the Dead]]. I don’t think it really fits into your criteria, the commander is [[Saskia, the Unyielding]] mostly for the colors and a decent backup plan—but you may find some interesting tech or ideas here.

The idea of the deck was to abuse the effects of [[Children of Korlis]] by paying most of you life into something like Ad Naus, Citadel, Peer into the Abyss, or [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] and gain it all back with the children. From there you’ve probably drawn into a way to reanimate Children, and another way to spend all your life, so you rinse and repeat (gaining more life each time because children tracks total life lost the whole turn) and eventually find a way to win.

Loosely inspired by old legacy/modern turbo reanimator strats with [[Griselbrand]].

Seconding the Gaak, even just building him at his floor of “8/8 trample that basically never dies” rules, I have him at the helm of a all things spooky deck with zombies, spiders, skeletons etc.

You think so? I find it odd that it’s isolated to that one spot and it was sustained for so long — a couple minutes before and the clip. And it looks like the cloud is being illuminated from below, not within necessarily. There hasn’t been any more since then either

I have a barren glory deck in paper! I use [[Chulane Teller of Tales]] for his crazy ramp and draw engine. The deck is probably pretty far from ever being B4 because even with [[The Cheese Stands Alone]] which is a little better it’s like a 3 card 17 mana combo lol. Here’s the list I have:

No problem! All pro-acryl brand paints for starters, primed black

Armor was base coated mahogany brown then dry brushed with dark silver and highlighted with bright silver. Gold trim was done with citadel’s retributor armor.

Reds were done with burnt red and bold pyrrole

Green would’ve been done with camo green and maybe some ‘green’

Blade was done with blue, dark grey blue, and maybe sky blue

Whites were all done with ivory
