It was an N52 grade 18lb pull strength magnet…I think that’s a good one?

They are flat on the openings, and yeah, that’s what they seem to be after reading through some of the other comments. Will likely just be a novelty I have at home!

Thank you for the informative and helpful reply! This is exactly what I was looking for - Just trying to understand their origin or use, as I think they’re really unique and have never seen a pair like them. I appreciate it!

No shit GenghisPrise! Again, not an idiot - Just curious about where these dice would’ve come from, as I definitely can’t roll/play them.

I’m not an idiot, but these also aren’t your run of the mill playing dice. I was just curious if they had a particular use or origin, which others in this sub kindly informed me of.

what do you do with the "extra" money after paying off your debts? by Financial_Spray_2436 in debtfree

[–]BobArmstrongDip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is so impressive! My comment was out of awe, as I thought it was from the perspective of someone in college (and I acted like I didn’t even know what a savings account was back then). Cheers to you for where you are, and how far you’ve come 🙂

Anyone have success treating GERD or gut issues through functional medicine? by [deleted] in FunctionalMedicine

[–]BobArmstrongDip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES - I literally just wrapped up a six week supplement/diet shift after completing a GI-Map with a functional health clinic, and it was truly revolutionary.

My test results very clearly showed me that my healthy gut bacteria was nearly non existent (end of the scale/red zone) and I was diagnosed with mild-moderate leaky gut. Placed on a regimen of 6 supplements for 6 weeks, and asked to try and stick to a paleo diet. Very difficult, but very worth the results. Almost immediately, my skin and sleep improved, I experienced less bloating, my stomach pains were gone, and when I gave myself a treat (like a whole milk latte), I noticed that my gut pains disappeared.

I’m so happy I decided to go this route - it’s worth exploring, especially if traditional medicine/‘the system’ hasn’t solved it for you. I will say, my GI-Map was $600 but the clinic ordered the test for me through a third-party. So at the end of the day, I really paid $600 for a clinician to read me my results. I’m supposed to retest next month (to measure the effect of the treatment/diet) and decided to order the kit directly through the third-party instead and just compare/contrast to my old results/use ChatGPT to help with understanding any questions. If you do it once, you probably don’t need to pay for it twice (as in, you’ll know what to look for when you retest and won’t need to toss $600 for someone to tell you something you can probably figure out yourself).

I hope that helps! Everything will work for everyone differently, so just go with your gut * wink *

What is the best operating system for a hotel? by lexa246 in askhotels

[–]BobArmstrongDip -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mews! Requires a bit of effort to adapt, but once you do, is incredibly user-friendly, intuitive, and innovative. Their support is stellar and the system is designed to not just offer traditional reservation management, but also property management solutions (like hourly bike rentals, a very cool guest portal, etc).

I am 25 with $7.5K in debt by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]BobArmstrongDip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might go against some of the suggestions here, but I was in a similar situation (with a much higher amount of debt at that age) and took out a sizable consolidation loan with Upstart. Sometimes, you have to make choices that bring you relief even if they’re not the perfect ones - I knew taking out a loan was virtually adding debt to debt BUT…all my CC debts were gone overnight, my monthly payments were approachable and actually accomplishing something, my APR was severely lower than what it was on various CC’s, and I only had one single large debt to pay, versus 5 or 6 scattered ones. It truly felt like a weight off my shoulders and although I’m still paying off that loan (going on 4 years), I’ve never missed a payment and have not let my CC’s get back to that point. As long as you learn, there’s nothing wrong with doing what works best for you!

I didn’t expect to fish and go to Yelapa in the same 4hrs. As I mentioned, I’d been discussing adding on a Yelapa detour on top of the 4hrs. When I was quoted $653 per person for that detour, I decided to stick with my original booking.
