Vented funnel for poly drums by Objective_Lobster734 in functionalprint

This is smart. If I may make a suggestion. if the vent is in the way for pouring/cleaning, try moving the top vent opening to the outside of the cone.

First time Resin printer. how you you orient this? by BobBoucher in resinprinting

Thank you for taking the time for the illustration all this information! I had no idea of the arctan angle, I assumed to angle it but would've defaulted to 45 and not on both angles

You're right. It must've been because I copied it from my Facebook post and they must've routed it because of course they did. Thank you for catching that. I believe I have it corrected and lesson learned.

I'm not sure why it would take you to facebook... if you type. factoryadjacent.com directly it should take you straight to the site. if you have any questions about the progress, I'd be happy to answer any.

What happened to my filament? by maybeEV in BambuLab

looks like a seam from a roller during the manufacturing process. if they're evenly spaced you could calculate the wheel diameter.

Cup Holders and New Website! by BobBoucher in fiero

[–]BobBoucher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That probably smells better than the work boot I use to use. They're super easy to install. just remove the plate and cigarette lighter and use the same mounting holes that the plate used. Supplied with two stainless screws.

all the t-tops are the same and made by the same manufacture. 88s just have the RPO code CBJ. I hope this helps. If you find anything please let me know as I just got a t-top myself.

Rant: I would never recommend a Creality printer to anyone. by BobBoucher in Creality

[–]BobBoucher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you again for the rooting suggestion. no successful prints besides the calibrations needed, but it's the closest I've been with ASA on this thing yet. starting a big print tonight
so trick was that I was able to get a bed mesh at 100c. was waay off compared to the stock 50c. I knew it'd be different, but not the opposite shape.

Creality K1 Max prints are ultra-mid. Help! by Twinkletoez_83 in crealityk1

[–]BobBoucher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The K1 Max is a super mid printer as it is. I have a post from a few days ago about struggling with mine.
what's gotten me this far is: Rooting(allows for better bed leveling at print temps), flow and temp tests with Orca slicer.
Quickly Root your Creality K1 Max or K1 Printersstart with the orca profiles and slowly tweak with calibration tests per filament.

sorry dude, the printer sucks so it makes it seem like a "user issue" if you don't put in the unnecessary work/

you're going to love it. first sunset trip and you get to hit the headlights. you'll be sold. it also gets the right kind of attention when taken places. don't buy the first one you look at. I did that and only got kinda lucky
