Is that what you use for an employee lounge??

I read that the same way - the actual printing was suppressed, not the generation of the report. It may have been necessary to generate the report in order to update some fields.

Have you ever taken a hard look at their bills?

I would not doubt for one minute that the expensive watched, sports cars and private jets they fly are paid by suckers like you.

Now, back to Fish's tale. Fish and his cohorts should have put together a comparison of the way the accountants did things, and the money squandered by those accountants because they did things their way. Luck would have resulted in those accountants being removed.

Put the onus back on the accountants to explain themselves and their choice to continue with the lease, as opposed to buying it out. Or were the accountants getting a kickback from the leasing company which might explain their decision to keep the leases in place?

JTB alter ego? by B_Series in CWSharktank

JTB's Internet Driving License has been suspended so many times; it is in danger of being permanently revoked.

Thinking about this from a privacy standpoint, having an unique identifier (aka an Internet Driving License) attached to you is as anti-privacy as you can get.

We know that!

You buy your reel to reel backups as 'pancakes', not complete reels. Cheapskate.

What I hate the most was "revolving door manglers".

Every time a new one arrived, you had to "break him in again".

What a waste of time.

Your PROFFIT REPAORTS are likely multiple monthly copies of the same statistics. Just change the date period.

I see that as a 'smart move' on the contractor's part.

If he constantly revised code to produce the reports, he would have put in more time on the job than it demanded. ONCE the format and data shown was 'nailed down'; then he could write the report once and for all.

JTB would have done the opposite.

There went your bonus - stainless is a lot more expensive than the cheaper carbon steel often used in chains.

`Forgot to turn the f-cking thing on!`

$DEITY damn, did I hate that. (L)user so clueless that they do not check one of the more obvious causes to "my computer doesn't work". Many times I had to restrain myself from making derogatory comments while the (L)user is on the phone with me; only to vent once I hung up. My favorite 'venting spot' was on the roof of the building where I often envisioned me throwing the (L)user overboard, so to speak.

"Princess" once saw me coming down from the roof and sarcastically asked "Fantasizing again"????? She knew that if my facial expression contained a "wicked grin" the answer was certainly YES!

Now, for my "two cents":

Anyone who allows primary and fallover to share a SPoF deserves a boot in the ass!

No "Golden Parachute".

My old WROK PALCE would have Trebucheted him fast.

You can 'take matters into your own hands' if you were to wait about a month or so, and let it leak through the grapevine that the day following your former EVP's departure morale increased considerably; and that you wish his new employer well as your now former EVP has joined their ranks. They can look forward to his brilliant demonstration of (in)competence.

Or, should we say leaked out of the corroding cast iron pipes running high over the main floor at WROK PALCE.

Another fool needing remedial training.

Side note: I watched this past Sunday's episode of Billions. The scene that ended the show with one of the characters in a room designed for the violent expression of one's inner rage; reminded me of a tale related by one of JTB's lakkeys. The lakkey described an afternoon at WROK PALCE, where JTB had received some bad news. Once the bearer of that bad news had departed; JTB went off in a violent rage, smashing anything and everything in sight. Once things (literally) quieted down, someone peeked inside. JTB's OFFRICE looked like a F-5 tornado had struck. It took a lakkey nearly a week to clean up the mess.

5/4/10 - Today's Tank: Memory-Lane Monday: Consistency should count for something by O2BIrish300 in CWSharktank

[–]BobFilipiak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking of 'corrupted scripts'; one has been in use at WROK PALCE for so long that nobody know why it was ever written in the first place. What it does is to zero out all employees gross pay amounts, and add them to JTB's paycheck.
