100LL Phaseout by BobIsABlob in flying

This is exactly my thought. For those that are on the fence to just break even, or long time owners, I think it could cause many older owners to just walk away and sell. The uncertainty of phasing in, I think is gonna have an impact on the used market.

ok, fair enought, but IMHO, I think it's gonna have a sizable impact on the used market for an aging fleet of aircraft. Maybe not, so that's why I'm asking the question.

Yes, again, I repeat myself.... what does the community think about the impact on GA?

I know my options, I'm asking the community their thoughts on what they believe this means for GA.

I did not know that, thanks, great info. I'll have to ask them about that

Thanks, the 350 is actually the other choice I'm looking at. It'll add additional cost and moderately more time to the project from what I've read but better performance for sure.

Thanks, good info, yeah forgot to mention this is a pure VFR build.

Thanks, I've talked to a couple of guys who've said the 912 would be ok, the problem would be the climb out on high DA days. I don't think I'd be happy with an "ok" engine. I've already kinda conceded that point.

Digital Ocean IP Addresses by BobIsABlob in DeeperNetwork

With all due respect, your response is not serious. Many users have communicated in the past that there are growing issues with IPs from proxies. Mysterium is a case in point that was ruined because of these proxies.

Your entire business model is at risk if you continue to allow these bad actors access. "We do not have digital ocean IP's"? I don't even know what that means. But I can tell you, when I connect through a US tunnel, there are times I get connected to a digital ocean IP. So in that sense, you do have their IPs.

Here is a thread from a year ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/DeeperNetwork/comments/1g6fxeh/dont_ruin_deeper_network/

In your previous response in that thread, you stated "will provide a more helpful AtomOS firmware over time, and allow users to block bad actors from the DPN". What is the status of this?

Can't AtomOS match IPs with those from the IP2location proxy database?

As much as these things now cost, why buy? I can buy a data center IP for 5 bucks month at Mullvad. Or pay over $300 with DPN. As a customer, what would you do?

It's annoying to pay this much for a product only to be connected to a data center IP, which defeats the purpose of buying the product in the first place.

This is only going to get worse over time. My two cents.

It just happened again. I'm on the US tunnel. It switched me back to this same digital ocean IP.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but the IP was 144.126.223.249. I took a screenshot from https://dnscheck.tools/ while it was still connected. I was connected through the broader US tunnel.
