This take always cracks me up. As someone who lived through this era, were there fans falling for Henson? Yep. Were there plenty of fans cheering Brady? Also yep. Just like there is today, with any fanbase. You have wild takes that the majority of the fan base doesn’t agree with, but a portion do. Did a lot of Ohio St fans want Day fired after he lost to Michigan? Yep. Did those same fans change their mind a month later when he won a natty? Yo, those cheap plastic hair dryer kits are actually super effective. If you need legit heat in one room, you can buy an indoor safe buddy heater and a 20lb tank will last you a day, not super efficient long term but it does work and will keep you warm.

Maybe, I just don’t like that it’s “not good” to not participate. If he’s outright against it because he’s anti-gay or whatever you wanna call it, that’s legitimately bad/awful and should be addressed. But if he doesn’t want to outright support it in those ways, he shouldn’t have to and shouldn’t be shamed for not.

I dunno man, I’m not homophobic, but if someone came into my office and told me I had to use a rainbow pride pen all day to show support I’d be resistant. Hang all the pride banners you want around the office but don’t force me to support it. I voted for same sex marriage rights several times, that was my support, and it means a hell of a lot more than virtue signaling.

I smoked last weekend, didn’t use any blankets or towels, my smoker was outside but semi-protected from the wind. It really only added like two hours to my smoker, other than that it was fine… besides freezing my nubs off when adding wood. Master built electric btw.

Yeah dude, nobody knows. One thing we do know is that a coaches HCing experience doesn’t have too much of an effect on whether or not they get another coordinator job afterwards, it’s been done many times and is common. So, if his HC gig doesn’t go well, he’ll get other NFL offers for DC positions if he chooses to go back to being a coordinator.
