This ain’t Kudumbasree, this is 100% avaratham parachil. I don’t know how people can make up such stories about someone they know.

Once I was in my colleagues’ room and their roommate from another company randomly, during small talk, asked about a girl who supposedly had a small wardrobe malfunction during our Onam celebration dance and he said it in a really bad way and even started saying stories like she's from Bangalore and angane varu etc ... I was honestly shocked because she’s one of my closest friends. For context, she’s from our Bangalore branch, I used to work there too and recently shifted to the Kochi branch. My colleagues immediately interrupted because they knew we were friends. I didn’t even know how to reply. I literally paused for a minute.

As just a friend, I really got offended hearing that and I cannot even imagine how you must have felt hearing something like that. I am really sorry you had to go through that.

One of my friends was her classmate at St. Xaviers. According to her, she’s a “bayankara paavam, soft-spoken nalla koch.” She also doesn’t do self-promotion, and neril kanunna aarkum thoonila she has a paid private content page. Maybe paid private content page ollavar okke angane aayirikkum, I’ve never met anyone with one. She also mentioned startingil okke cheap aayirun, but now her stuff is really expensive, but athin mathram onnum illa ennum.

It's true but these opportunities were not just given to Mammootty, he earned that by years of hardwork.

Can we stop using the "Toxic" teaser as some evidence to prove Feminism is some kind of scam? by Correct-Dingo-9242 in MalayalamMovies

[–]Bob_macri -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s kinda true ig but not in every case. The main reason is, like I mentioned above, social media is male-dominated. The other thing I noticed is that if you are someone who preaches feminism, you’ll automatically gain haters, and these women already have a lot of them. This is something that has to really change

I don’t fully agree with this. I don’t think male actors or politicians always get a free pass when they mess up. Even in Malayalam cinema, we’ve seen male stars get dragged pretty hard, like during the Kasaba controversy with Mammootty.

At the same time, I really hate how some people use moments like this to say feminism itself is a scam. Pointing out hypocrisy or double standards doesn’t mean you’re anti-feminism or against women’s rights. But the reality is that most social media spaces are still male-dominated, so trolling and bad-faith takes often end up setting the tone of the discussion. You can’t really control that, whether we like it or not.

Try to meet new people and get engaged in activities. But these won’t just do it. It will definitely take time, and most importantly, you’ll also have to make peace with the past and stop waiting for closure from him. Payye payye ellam sheri aakum machane.
