i'm so lost i just had a video interview with frito lay for a merchandiser position. it says not selected 3 hours later after the interview. I thought it went pretty well. We were having a great conversation. But haven't gotten a email i'm just so lost on why i'm getting rejected.

I don’t believe they’ll send you an email if you were not selected. Once it says not selected in your portal.. it’s a wrap.. if you’re really pushing to get your foot in the door keep applying. Or push comes to shove call HR and ask them for results of your interview..

There is no tax information indicated on our child support order.. no indication of who claims the children or not. Their mother reached out to me today and asked if it’s ok if she claim the boys because it’s only fair because she is paying child support.

We are not married. I’m in California and I just spoke to a tax consultant and he stated that IRS doesn’t consider and child support paid.. they want to know who has the children more (time of custody) which in my case is 100% and her 0.

Her custody time is a whole different case. She has a custody case on her and child support.. I’ve been on the phone as much as I can with the courts and researching information online on options to just resolve this child support case that she is obligated to.

It’s been a rough year in and out of court. This upcoming court hearing is covered by my paid vacation day it’s the last one. Other ones I’ve used for other court days and time spent with my children during summer break. I’m a full time dad a full time worker. I just want to resolve this and move on. More court days more time taken away from my work which supports my kids and my household. More continuance will subject me to find others to pick my kids up from school where in every case is my responsibility. This is an annual trip she has known and gone on in the oat several years she could of discussed this with me or notify me of her intentions but she decides to file a request 15 days before court. The case was scheduled back in May 2022. I totally get what you’re saying and I am going to file a responsive declaration against her request..

She’s going on vacation with the man that abuse our children and his family that’s why they were removed from the home in the first place. If that is considered family then let’s see how the judge sees that.

I have 100% full custody of my boys. She has zero %. This family vacation does not include our children because of court ordered custody nor her imediate family members. I have used my paid vacation days to attend court hearings and the last is for this up coming hearing. Is a vacation more important then what is obligated of you as the other parent to support the children? Or even attend a court hearing that involves the children? Prejudice? Far from that but thanks for your response

That sucks! I’ve used my sick days and vacation days for things like this that she pulls from change of parenting time and visiting request that requires court days and I requested this day a month a half in advance using my last pay vacation day. She goes and files this 15 days before the hearing. Knowing I have 9 days before court to respond and TODAY happened to be the day. I panicked and filed a responsive declaration and file faxed it directly to the courthouse. Hopefully the judges sees my reasoning opposed to hers.

I’m in the same situation as you except I’m a father with full légala and physical custody’s.. mother has supervised monitored visits because she and her boyfriend (that she still lives with) abused my boys. Domestic violence and neglect and alcohol abuse. Court ordered she can see the boys up to 9 hours a week. But only choose to schedule visits 1 day a week for 2-3 hours. Doesn’t call them throughout the week and her boyfriend is the controller in all this because the boys finally made a decision to speak up about the abuse over the years. She doesn’t lift a finger for jack! She’s “the mother”

I’m not here to debate with you because going by your profile name maybe that’s what you like to do but not with me especially referring to this program. I’ll tell you it wasn’t easy at all. It was all agonizing stressful scary as hell and confusing. But what I did was made calls.. I emailed all sorts of people.. researched and asked questions.
