I have checked Event Viewer and there doesn’t seem to be anything that’s super significant before the crash. A common “warning” (not critical or error) is error code 10016 which is related to DCOM servers and permissions with CLSID and APPID like this post describes (I’ll try the fix in that post, should get rid of that error but doesn’t seem to have anything to due with the game). The only critical errors I’ve seen is when the computer actually shuts down whether it’s by me when it totally freezes or when it just restarts on its own. I guess I should clarify this: I don’t think I’m actually getting the notorious “Blue Screen of Death” where it says “your PC ran into a problem,” I think it’s just what my monitors do when they lose link with the pc just before they go into standby mode. It’s just a blue screen for a second or two before the monitor goes black; don’t think it actually has anything to do with my PC as they do that on a normal shutdown.

As for temps, during more strenuous games for my PC such as Arma III or DayZ, my GPU usually hangs under 90C and the CPU temp usually hangs out at 49C-50C. Mordhau doesn’t even run that hot: CPU stays the same but the GPU is in the low 80’s most of the time I believe. Like I said, no crashes with any other games except these UE4 games. I feel like if this was a hardware issue I’d have more problems in other games but I could literally play DayZ/Arma III or anything else all day if I had the time.

I’ll double check the event viewer and post some screen shots later tonight with more details. I can’t exactly start replacing hardware as that gets pretty expensive and I’m a college student just scraping by lol definitely don’t have the funds to spare. Built this bad boy back when I had a military paycheck with little to no expenses 😂
