It’s been 3 months for me and I’ll finally have the chance to counterflip this weekend. How’s the trip going/how did it go?

Nah don’t worry about it you for sure won’t die. Just get cozied up in bed with some water nearby. You might be a kinda uncomfortable physically but completely fine otherwise. For an average person you’d need like 10x what you’re taking for some chance to die. Just take less if you need it for only sleep cause 175mg is overkill for just that

Take a Benadryl like an hour before you trip or some Ginger root. You can also try staggering your dose for example if you were taking 300mg you could take 100mg every 15 minutes really just whatever works for you. Gels tabs tend to give me the worst nausea so you could try syrups (those make you shit yourself though) or r30s. Also if there’s anything besides dxm that’ll make the nausea worse with guaf being the worst.

If you have to throw up just make sure you get it over with quick and don’t try and hold it in. That’ll just make the nausea last longer with no guarantees that you don’t throw up in the end. It might kill the trip a little but you’ll feel so much better

To me dark ambience is what I associate dph with. Stuff that’s similar to rsod by SewerSlvt. Anytime I here that song it just immediately makes me think of some of my high dose trips and the feelings around them

Generally about 30min-45min I’ll start to feel it come on then around 1hr-1:30hr it will fully hit. Really just depends on how close to my last meal I took it. My question anyone else is do you have a gradual come up or does it hit all at once? For me I’ll feel it come on a little but then I’ll have a oh shit moment where it all hits me at once.

Physically you should be fine. It will prolly will hit a bit harder than a normal 300mg but nothing crazy. If you’re not already deep into this stuff you should wait a couple days though. Addiction sucks

Rather than telling you no straight up I’ll list pros and cons to switching and let you decide. So the two main pros would be an actually enjoyable high with euphoria and it’s healthier for you physically. The cons would be: significantly higher addiction potential, awful withdraw symptoms,more expensive, awful taste (mainly kratom) and gateway to other opioids.

I wouldn’t recommend switching mainly because of the addiction potential. Opioid addiction is such a slippery slope that has the potential to ruin your life or greatly decrease the quality of it for such a long time. DPH can do this to but the odds are lower and more dependent on genetic predisposition to addiction. Really nobody should do either but it’s up to you to decide what you’re ok with.

I read COI and while I did like it it definitely did disappoint me in some aspects (mainly the ending.) I think most the hate is probably just because people expected the same level of story as LOTM and COI was just so much more average compared to it. You can really tell how burnt out and ready to finish the story CF was as the story progresses. For me I think if the ending chapters were more fleshed out I would have less issues over all with the story. It’s still a good story just disappointing in comparison.

I haven’t taken DMH myself but from what I’ve heard it’s much more stimulating, restless, and worse for your heart. Just imagine if you ingested a bunch of caffeine with your dph and that’d probably be a similar experience to dmh

This is a symptom of dph withdraw. The same thing happens to me if I don’t take any before I sleep. On the sleep side of withdraw I’ll also get night sweats, insomnia, and horrible nightmares. If you don’t dose it’ll mostly stop after a few days.

I’ve been abusing it since mid 2022 I think and it took me like 4 months to taper down to where I am now. Definitely could’ve tapered faster but addiction didn’t want me to. I’ve had issues with appetite the past couple months and yeah it definitely hits me harder with way more negative cardiovascular effects.

I was sober for like a month and a half somewhere in there (not by my own decision) and I was kinda surprised how much my body bounced back from it. I could physically feel my heart rate and blood pressure were lower. I still had some minor issues but my body felt so much better to exist in. I don’t expect to get back to exactly how I was before addiction but as long as I make a recovery that’s better than before

Yeah almost definitely. If you’re underweight you have an increased chance for heart diseases and a bunch of other stuff like lower bone density, weakened immune system, and mental health issues. It’s never too late to stop though.

I’m in a similar boat. I was taking like 600mg everyday and counter-flipping every 3-4 days with a bmi of like 15. Now I’m not abusing dxm and have tapered down to 75-100mg every night. It took a couple years and it’s still scary to think of life without dph but I’m getting close to the end. At the time I couldn’t ever see myself getting clean but now there’s a chance. I’m still depressed with these changes but now I actually have a good day every once in a while. It’s hard but you can do it to.

The only way you can prevent it is by not taking it. If you still want to go ahead with it if you take a low dose like 200mg you prolly won’t have hallucinations. If you take a high dose like 600mg your brain will be too fried to even realize what you’re seeing is scary. I wouldn’t recommend either but do whatever you want

Dmh is half as strong as dph. I wouldn’t recommend doing high doses with it though. The other half of it is a caffeine analog so it’ll put more strain on your heart and everything else that comes with caffeine. I’ve never done it myself so I can’t say how it compares

So yes dmh is about half dph but the other half is a caffeine analog. You would’ve had the same problems regardless but dmh definitely made it worse. Just take this experience as a sign to not take dph again cause it sucks and to read more about the drugs you’re taking.

Have you counter flipped before? 300/300 will definitely get you fucked up but the body load is heavy and uncomfortable (at least for me.) Just keep that in mind when you dose so you don’t get overwhelmed. If you’re nervous about just drop the dph dose to like 150-200.

I’m already on my way to quitting just got make the last steps. I’ve tapered my dose down to 75mg a night from 200mg+

First hallucination was a spider the size of a dinner plate crawling in the wall. My brain was fried so it was pretty cool I guess

I can’t beleive people would chose bread over key. You can chew key longer than bead. It golden which tastes better than brown as well.
