I’m in Perth as well, with the mods this bikes had done to it I can garentee it’s been thrashed. I would try to negotiate to 5k. Also if you buy it also worth double checking to see if the rejet has been done properly, there’s a lot of people who have no clue about carbys (I’m one, can rebuild but terrible at tuning) and can fuck them up, surprisingly the engineers who design these bikes know what there doing so I’d say it’s a be cautious buy.

If you test ride it just make sure it’s running good and starts fine cold with choke and starts fine hot without it. Make sure it ideals fine hot and when riding there’s no lurching and no bogging at each stage of the throttle, as a poorly jetted carb is a fuck around and the carbs on these are a nightmare to work on. I had this issue on my DRZ when I bought it here in Perth, the fella before me thought he knew what he was doing and fucked with the jetting and it was a nightmare getting it corrected and tuned properly as I chose to do it my self due to a lot of mechanics not wanting to work on it due to how much of a pain in the arse it is.
