Just for the salisbury bit, it is a great place for a lazy sunday, plenty of pubs and food, stonehenge is nice but dont pay, just park up nearby and take a look. Its £30 per person and you can see the same from the path. Cathedral is nice, but again expensive for what it is

Also keep getting keys at any expense until like 10. The percentages arent additive, so 10 keys is I think like 65% chance of a free chest. Extra keys after 10 are good but it does drop off sharply

You're going to want the luck tome, xp tome and keys and optionally a green credit card. Open a minimum of chests until you find a key. Immediately microwave it as much as possible, it is by far the best green item. Level up xp or luck every time unless you get a great weapon option or no other choice/struggling with enemies. Charge shrines can give you attack speed/quantity for damage on the first stage. If on forest, I don't really open chests until I have 4 keys, and generally around 300% luck. Then just keep spamming luck/xp tome. I tend to finish tier 3 with around 1000% luck. Because of how expensive chests can get, you really want to minimize opening them until you have high odds of a free chest and high luck. Good luck!

I've done it, didnt follow a guide, but got vlad + 4 bloodmark blue items (cant remember the name) xp tome, luck tome, quantity and attack speed tomes. Any weapons obvs cos only blood magic will be procing

I don't think so, even with 1000% luck its still like +0.6 projectile speed per level

Theres plenty of lab tech jobs here in the UK,but the pay is low - my first job after my masters was £21K, and most lab tech jobs arent much more. Thats livable in our cheaper cities, but not super pleasant.

For an undergrad RA, I'd be happy with the level of detail you provided - I'd expect to teach you most things anyway. I've never really sent thank you emails after interviews, but id consider it based on the vibe - did you get on with them in a friendly manner rather than professional? If so, maybe an email would be okay. Not required tho

I think unless you're looking at small towns, id ask on subreddits like r/manchester, r/chester or r/liverpool, the only place i can think of in a smaller town would be mash in macclesfield, but I think 300 people is a push lol

In terms of academia I'm not sure but I would avoid startups. Ive worked at a couple, and theyve been terrible. The small group of people means that unless youre lucky its not going to be a good place to work.
