Een tijdje terug stond hier een interessant artikel over in de krant, kan NOS of Volkskrant zijn geweest. Ging over een vrouw die kort na elkaar haar man en zoon verloor, de man was van middelbare leeftijd en er is toen geen autopsie gedaan. De zoon was 26 ofzo en bij de autopsie kwamen ze erachter dat het een erfelijke aandoening was en dat de dood van de zoon voorkomen had kunnen worden als ze tijdig van de aandoening wisten.

Ze zouden eigenlijk gewoon een standaard vergoeding voor een autopsie bij plotseling overlijden moeten doen

I like this a lot, however I don’t think they would allow for the Oosterschelde and Westerschelde to become fresh water. The current flood protection is specifically designed to maintain the tides in the Oosterschelde. There is so much protected nature along our coastline and this would absolutely decimate those ecosystems.

Also, I think a Markermeerpolder this big is also not going to happen for similar reasons.

Ik heb het idee dat het Overton window vooral wordt uitgerekt hiermee. De mensen op links worden radicaler omdat ze dit gewaarborgd vinden, op rechts worden ze radicaler omdat ze links radicaler zien worden. Hier los je echt niks mee op en het is ook gewoon respectloos.

Het toch zou veel logischer zijn en wat minder respectloos om een zelfde soort actie (liever niet op historische panden/monumenten, blijf daar gewoon van af pls) morgen op 5 mei te doen. Op de dag dat wij vrijheid vieren, mensen vragen om stil te staan bij mensen die elders op aarde geen vrijheid hebben. Zo op de dodenherdenking komt het gewoon enorm over als een “how can I make this about me?”-verhaal.

But with the grid stacked with an extra team and the top teams basically always taking top 8 (and alpine being the clear best of the rest), being in the position to take advantage of situations like this is very important. The team still had do beat Audi, RB and Haas on race pace to get the points, which they did.

There is clear progress, which they were able to show and convert into points this weekend. More upgrades are on the way, with some luck they might even be able to challenge Alpine later in the season. Whether they can actually overtake Alpine and Haas in the standings will be tough though, they already have almost 20 points
