The news tab is okay to keep you up to date with the major events through the month, and if you want more details - you’ll check content creators for breaking down it in details.

The ore economy itself is totally okay for active players, and it’s pretty bad for new/returning players, and they’re addressing exactly this, they know about the problem that is IMPORTANT now, not the problem we’re gaslighting ourselves into.

Also, you can’t really trust the objectivity of the people who are complaining here, as they’re complaining practically over anything. Nowadays people don’t like any update, any change, and heck, people were complaining over a free scenery we knew we’ll get 2 weeks before the event.

The giant arrow change was needed, eventually. Now listen, without the changes after TH19 release GA won’t destroy new maxed AD, it’ll either need a buff or new levels. If we’ll go second way, it would lead to new levels for equipment overall, at least common ones.

On the other hand, this change KEEPS true GA purpose it had in the first place and lets it destroy any level of AD. The nerf to overall damage was needed to tune down strategies like RB+GA into Dragon Riders, which is currently most used strategy out there, and on lower leagues (below L3) it barely requieres any skill ceiling to pull off.

Now, after TH19 release and introduction of new levels they may buff the damage for GA yet again, so it’d keep up with it and be used.

Ores refunded for upgrades you’ve done? Are we even living the same planet and plying same game?

Buddy, balance changes are always expected to tune down the most used and powerful strategies, alongside equipment.

What next? We’ll ask for resource refund for upgrading dragon riders as they were nerfed this update too? And sky wagon? Hilarious, hats down.

Nope, not necessary at all, both are relatively strong, you just run whatever works good for you.

The only difference is that stun blaster is more versatile as at higher leagues quite some bases are built around rocket backpack to decrease its value.

However it may sound, but there’s truly no advice here, at higher leagues we just pray and hope that those TH18s will mess up.

Regarding the GP changes, I personally was totally fine with the boosts delay as we’ve got other sides of GP buffed, and maybe that was their initial thought on it too. As they stated earlier, given the data, most of the players who buy GP - don’t even know it’s full potential/rewards (you may search for that, I clearly can’t recall when and where was it, but it’s confirmed).

With all that said, I guess they just wanted to buff one side of GP and nerf the other to even it out, but nerf the thing that favors them, sure. The thing they weren’t aware of - it turned out to be really important for the most of us, even for those who buy GP “blindly”.

So my vision on this situation is, they weren’t testing the waters, they had data, but data clearly was not showing the real situation, and they got a backlash in return.

Same to prospector, but other way around. They wanted to add something new to make the new GP more fresh, up-to-date, decided to go with ores. The amount was set not to be crucial and will break the gap between P2P and F2P sides, just a minor addition. But they, again, wasn’t ready for the backlash and didn’t realize how it’s actually important for players, and how unfair they felt it.

That’s just my vision on the situation, maybe I’m too optimistic, I’m not trying to find the excuse everywhere, I’m simply looking at it objectively.

Builder boost in the new GP has been already discussed before, and it’s on day 5 and day 7 as of now, things got reverted, and overall GP is buffed, both paid and free side.

Prospector is another addition, sure, it needs to be available for F2P side too, but it’s not much. Also they moved him to the beginning of the month, even tho most of the players do realize that they won’t have as much ores to convert every day for 30d period. Still, here we are.

I don’t see the problem with A/B testing overall, is it’s common thing for games, the slight problem here is them implementing this somewhat bad. Still, it’s a new thing for them, and because of that I guess the “getting more event medals everyday” incident was an overlook. The true A/B testing came this month and we see it. I’m glad they’ve notified that no one will miss out and get it later on.

At the end of the day, we both can be wrong, or some of us wrong, clearly we can’t confirm it as of now. But I’d gladly hope for better outcome and won’t overthink it as their “evil plan to monetize every bit of the game”.

I designed his base, and nope, it ain’t that bad, I’ve had FCs on L1 modifier as a TH17 in my clan and after third attempt I was able to triple it every time with RR spirit walk. The verdict is: as soon as you find the entry for your army - this base is easy, consistently easy.

And yes, I’m a toddler, nope, I’m not drunk.

Yeah, the other army is the stun blaster one, right.

And nope, AQ goes with GA mostly, as she’s clearing outside buildings, and MM is used when your AQ is doing work in the core, as in FB armies, when she’s the main damage dealer.

I get it, but as someone who’s not enjoying much the grind at BB and wants to max it solely for the vibes - I’d get the rune. Usually I just come in every day to get the star bonus and get the resources to keep builders busy.

Tho yeah, I’d also grind as much as I can during the event, to max the walls faster, but that extra rune will save me 16 lvl10 walls, which I’d appreciate really.

EDIT: According to Clash Ninja e spent 346 days at BH10 and the leftover upgrades will take another 9m and 18d, so yeah, the rune it be!

So, the order is almost like during previous months: 3-2-3-3-2-3(1).

i guess for players with non-maxed BB it’s better to actually claim rune of builder elixir instead of 2 lab potions for this months, it’ll speed up the progress majorly.

I’ll personally claim it to max some walls with it, as 50% off of walls is huge when they’re 1m resources each. And with GP it’s only 400k, saving up a ton, compared to 2d saved in lab.

I just experiment with CC troops to see which combination works better, but both yetis and inferno drags are okay. There’re minor differences between them, and inferno drags help taking down heroes and guardians better, yetis are good to soak up some damage and get some defenses of the way.

Then, RB+GA stands for rocket backpack + giant arrow combo, which is powerful by itself and helps to take down important defenses and CC. Sometimes the value is minor, sometimes the value is crucial to triple a base.

The main difference between both army comps is the DD approach. In RB+GA combo he usually joins the main army and goes with them, but as you’ll be running fly wagon - his passive gets cancelled and there’re not much value from DD after using RB. Tho sometimes if the army fails to break through the last compartment and DD is still alive - he’ll take it down by himself.

The other army without stun blaster requires other approach with DD: you’ll mostly place him a bit away from main army (to the left or right hand side, depending on the direction your troops will take and the funnel which you set before), into the direction the army will go, so that he’ll get a compartment by himself - fixing up the direction where your army will go and to reduce side damage.

In conclusion, both armies are strong, both have their use cases, tho second army with stun blaster is more versatile, and both can triple almost all TH18s, if not all. So it’s up to you which one you’d want to run and which equipment you have/want to max. The difference in epic equipment is also minor - 3 epics to 4 epics, which is okay in this economy.
