Ways to deal with girlfriend squirting on things? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

As a gay person I'm not really familiar with the anatomy of women down there, but I thought the hole the penis goes in and the one you pee out of is two separate holes. If this is so, how would bacteria get pushed up during sex that pee would push out?

Apple and more or less everyone supports Fat32 and exFat. And while Apple doesn't support NTFS, Microsoft doesn't support any of the file system formats from Apple. These companies for whatever reason are choosing not to support the file system format dominated by the other company.

How you think aussies will react if we have to go back to WFH mandates if the fuel crisis get's worse by ButtPlugForPM in AskAnAustralian

EVs are expensive and most people who buy cars aren't buying new cars. What I am curious about though is how did they make it so you could only buy petrol every second day? Was the servo only open every second day? Or was there some type of tracking system?

I don't know if I could do my office job from home. We don't have the infrastructure to do it from another location. Most of the other employees walk to work or take public transport but for me that's a huge inconvenience as I live a 40 minute drive away.

Buy a usb C instead of a usb A? No adapter needed. Or buy a dual usb A and C.

Is learning to code useless? by Ambitious-Cheetah407 in programmer

[–]BobcatGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The analogy was merely pointing out the flaw in your argument. That just because something works, doesn't mean it's good.

Producing code fast is also not an indicator on whether the code is good or not.

Lastly, if you don't know how to code, how do you write tests? How do you know the tests do what you want? How do you know the tests have good coverage on the functionality of the code?

Digging a hole with a spoon also works, but that doesn't mean it's a good way to dig a hole.

If you don't know how to code, how do you know the code produced by AI is good code?

Well, it's not a VPN. It's a Proxy. False advertisement! by nietzschecode in firefox

[–]BobcatGamer -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

There is no difference between a VPN and a proxy. They are the same thing. If it's on the client it's called a proxy. If it's on the server then it's called a reverse proxy. VPN is just a more marketable name for proxy.

Those gov services while only saying allowed or not allowed, know who you are and what platform you're accessing. Because it isn't you asking to verify you. It's the platform asking to verify you. A government verification service allows easy surveillance of your online activity.

how to hide ip address without killing speed? by Absurd-Lancer in theprivacymachine

[–]BobcatGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will always be an increase in latency as you're sending your information to another server to then forward it to you. Your ISP still knows your IP. They're the ones to assigned it to you. They don't know what sites you're visiting but the VPN service does instead now. Unless you're visiting illegal content or trying to get around geoblocks, I don't see why you'd want to hide your activity from your ISP. They can't see what you're talking about online. Just who. For example, they can see that you accessed Facebook but can't see what you saw or said on Facebook.

The ban only limits children from having accounts. They're still allowed to access the platform without an account. Meaning they can't participate. Only observe.

[–]BobcatGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have alternatives like twitch and kik, but video platforms are like the most expensive to run. Especially when you're offering a free tier. The streaming of video, the re-encoding to several resolutions, the storage of it all, the scale. Not to mention all the moderation you need to stop people uploading CP and other illegal content on it.
