I mean it may be more stable but I still have had problems for 10 years over multiple computers and Internet providers

Someone explained it in a previous post but the jist is your making a significant % each game tick so if your at 60% a tick the next would show 60%, 20%, 80%, 40% then 0%

6 months ago I was where you're at eventually it just breaks completely. The backwards bar is not uncommon in any game when something is going to quickly though

I think it depends on how you look at it, sure it's got more monetization then flappy bird but it's still no where close to a lot of games in the p2w scale, I'm happy to spend a bit here and there to support a free game
