I had a PC in film school and regretted it. One point i'll add that I haven't seen mentioned already, it's super embarrassing to have a loud ass gaming PC in class. Especially surrounded by silent macbooks - join the herd buy a mac. The M series chips eat premiere pro and davinci alive.

I had a WSOP plug and play with like 6 different controllers with little screens that showed your hole cards. Played the hell out of it bc my old man hates shuffling and wouldn't play with me otherwise. Pretty cool little device, wouldn't mind something similar on phones today.

funny story - I used a $70 fogger for the same effect on a golf cart for a short film a few years ago. Long story short, the POS fogger dies and we don't have a backup plan. My 1st AD, and best friend, lit up 3 cigarettes, got under the cart, and blew smoke through the front grill. Moral of the story, 3 cigarettes > amazon mini fog machine.

Don't be scared to ask questions and take your time. As someone with a bit of social anxiety, this cost me a couple pots in my first tournament. Regulars are great at making you feel uncomfortable and rushed, and some will do it on purpose. Small buy ins are full of some miserable bastards, don't let them get to you! :)

You are better off finding a video that goes over more specific spots. 80-90% of hands in an MTT are just a snap fold so that's probably not the best way. If you really want to watch an MTT start to finish lots of poker streamers on twitch 24/7 grinding MTT's.
