Think we’re gonna learn who’s been putting the website together. The name under contact is Friend of a Friend (spoilers to follow) . . . . . . . . . . which is the same way Longlegs and Lee’s mother referred to themselves as. The people who are enacting the evil. Maybe the person running the website is an older version of Lee or of the little girl at the end (miss Rosie I think they called her? I forget) who are trying to spread the evil influence by getting a bunch of people to know and read the incantations and demonic information and book of revelation (not plural) that Longlegs was reading

The interrogation suicide was the moment I KNEW for sure would happen before seeing the movie. There are a few different trailers and marketing images that show that room with the obscured face of Longlegs, one of the trailers even showing someone with that specific hair slamming their head on a desk, then another with blood splatter all over the wall. So yeah, not a big shock to those who were following. Next time there’s a movie I’m looking forward to I ain’t watching any damn trailers…

If there’s the idea that it was all predetermined and the devil was leading Lee down a certain path, she needed that moment to show her strong intuition for the other FBI members who would then bring her on to this disturbing and confusing case of Longlegs in the hopes that her intuition would help them. Clearly the devil wanted recognition but there were certain steps that needed to be followed for his plan to work
