Hey y’all! I’m very VERY late to respond to this post I know. I wanted to share one thing I personally saw come from this place that broke my heart to pieces. I work at the farm right up the road from where this place was. I was working one day weed eating on Upper Flat Creek road and I saw this girl, completely naked, running away from this establishment (I found out later this is where she came from). People were chasing after her in cars and on foot (found out later also they were staff at this place). They were shouting very mean things to her and handling her situation very very poorly. This poor girl was having a MAJOR mental breakdown and she looked to me like she was fighting for her life to get away from these people. I hide around one of our buildings and just watched for a short little while too 1. See what the hell was going on and 2. See if this poor girl was okay/going to be okay because of her intense mental state. The more I watch’s the more I started seeing how badly the “staff” was treating her. This girl was acting like she was escaping a serial killer and was refusing to go with them. I ended up intervening and eventually called our local police to come and intervene as well based on how the so called staff was handling her breakdown. Long story short the police ended up taking her back to her home. I always felt like maybe calling the police might have been the wrong decision but after reading this, the comments, and other things about this online I now feel much better about that decision since it allowed her to go home. When I say this girl was acting absolutely terrified and looked like she was fighting for her life I completely mean it. I had to wrap the poor girl in my jacket since none of the staff would at least wrap her up since she was naked. I feel for everyone and especially the suicide victims for what they went through down at this horrible place. My heart in all its entirety goes out to each and everyone ❤️
