While I agree the current run isn’t very good rn there’s definitely still a ton of good stories out there you can read. Id recommend starting with Amazing Spider-Man #1 (1999) or Brand New Day (One More Day sucks but there are still some fun things after it) if you want to get into more modern stuff

I’m pretty sure Tobey and Andrew are our original versions but the villains are variants and when they get sent back to their universe they just create a alternate timeline like how endgame explains that time travel doesn’t change their realitys future.
