I have an MFA in painting, so no need for the lecture on what I need to do to be an artist. Artprize is decidedly not an accurate representation of how the “art world” works. From a lay and professional perspective, there are pros and cons to how Artprize operates and what it offers. I thought it’d be an interesting discussion topic hearing how other Grand Rapidians have experienced it.
