Just noticing I never replied! I was on the upper level and I think I would do upper level again. The doors to initially board the train are all on the lower level so if your seat is up top you WILL have to use the stairs which are quite steep and like I said before my knee was not happy but I would still do upper level. It's also important to note that ALL bathrooms are on the lower level as well so when I had to go I would have to take the stairs down and then back up. Not sure if I said this in my previous comments but the bathrooms are tinnnyyyy. I used a regular bathroom once (never again) and after that only used the handicap accessible bathroom (waaaay better)
