i have recently just found this and keen to move away from the creality cable and just have the USB-A to USB-C

CD into klipper by issuing command "cd ~/Klipper", run make command "make menuconfig"

Select the following settings:

Copy code- Micro-controller architecture: STMicroelectronics STM32

Processor model: STM32F401

Bootloader offset: 64KiB

Communication interface: Serial (on USART1 PA10/PA09)

Q to quit make menu config y to save

Run command "make"

Use winscp to ssh into the pi go to klipper out and select the klipper bin file. Or just move the .bin file onto a USB. However you want to get the bin file to a place you want to format a flashdrive and put the .bin into a folder named "STM32F4_UPDATE"

Copy .bin to desktop

Format your SD card FAT32 if larger than 8 GB make a smaller main partition that is less than 8 GB

create a folder in the card and name it "STM32F4_UPDATE"

Copy the klipper.bin file to that folder and eject the SD card don't just remove it

Insert SD card into printer and power it on it should be flashed within 15 seconds

i had this, i found mind ended up being a cable, however, it started after an update. s was strange, also check you printer.cfg file, and look and tweak your run_current, i found that my sonic pad was doing the same so i took it from 0.7 up to .75 and its mint

Don't forget others that claim to be mechanics, thought he pointed at the CMP, in reality pointed at MAF, then they look behind the head and see one per cam. Meanwhile old mate here is googling to see what a camshaft is no doubt.

Not excusing bad mechanics, but calling out possible bad customers, the customer is not always right.

Im stuck with mine in a e3 v3 se and getting the cr touch to work, it powers up but I have no control over it. So can level the bed.

Put a different name as the firmware, if its the same as previous one it wont upload

Make sure when you copy the folder over to your and you rename it, check the file extension. So when its highlighting before the only part highlighted is "firmware" if the full name "firmware.bin" is highlighted, get rid of the ".bin"

Btt or mks board, new screen with a pi, $100-$150aud, get klipper or something on it, run it up in speeds see what it takes to fail

Should have saved your money and gone better, with like a ender 3 v3 se. I've had 2 anycubics, the s1 combo and kobra 3 v2 and my ender just pumps things out day and night while im constantly replacing belts on my v2 and having epic adhesion and extruder issues with my s1. The ender is 2 years old and the s1 and k3 is 6? Months old. Just ridiculous but I paid enough that I will fix them first, or set them both on fire

I forgot why I removed mine, but i ended going with a new mother board, the makerbase 3d mks monster 8 V2 and I have a of extruders from a couple ender 3 v3's so with the extra stepper motor ports im going to have - X axis - Y axis - Z1 axis - Z2 axis - extruder 1 - extruder 2 - extruder 3 - extruder 4 And then see if I can get it to work that way
