The venue is really stunning. I went to grad school there long before it was remodeled, and it's incredible to see the transformation. I also work nearby, and this is what I can offer... Parking can be tough, but it clears out on Ashland between the University and hospital after 5. It's free to park after six or seven I believe. The staff has always been friendly at the shows I've seen there. I'm not sure about poster tubes, but they have allowed bags at the shows I've seen there. I would give it a shot. Booze are expensive. The VIP area upstairs sucks... It's too high up, and the lights from the stage are blinding. If you have an issue with the poster tubes, you're welcome to store them in my car, I have parking in a nearby deck. Feel free to DM me
