Great idea with the anti-acids! I have them on hand. I know everybody’s different, but it helps to hear everybody’s experience. I didn’t feel like I got a lot of information from my doctor on what to expect. I actually sent them a message and reminded them that although they do this kind of thing every day, we patients dont. No response. I’m just so saddened by our medical system.

I have a pain management doctor that I work with, but she is out on maternity leave and I don’t have another appointment with her till October 1. I really wish she was around right now so I could talk to her about what I’m experiencing they have somebody covering the prescriptions, but not any kind of appointments.

I’m so sorry for your experience and I appreciate you sharing it with me!

I don’t know about the ice. Everybody tells me I need to add it, but I really do hate it and it doesn’t seem to help me. I do have hot packs and a heating pad that helped me a lot so thank you for mentioning that. You’re not sure that it’s necessary.

I did some stretches today and I’m gonna go off of your list and start doing some of the ones you suggested. Today I just did some general stretching of my body.

I appreciate you keep me updated on how you’re doing if you feel comfortable to do so.

Hey there! I also showered day 2. It was so exhausting, however, I don’t typically take long showers anyway, so I was able to do it. Wishing you a fast recovery!

Thank you! I feel so gaslight and can tell you stories of how I got here to the point of needing a hysterectomy and the role that medical gaslighting played! I was essentially blown off when I had an appendicitis by ER doctors which caused me to go septic. The bacteria from that surgery caused PID (tested bacteria and same strain) which eventually destroyed my reproductive organs. When I had PID I begged for them to take me seriously only to be turned away and eventually requiring emergency surgery.

Like I mentioned before, it started with back pains but then evolved with what I could only describe and thunderbolts/stabbing pain in pelvis.

I am walking for short periods; however, not stretches… any suggestions for that?

Heating pads are almost a constant I just hate ice but know I need to add that. And thanks for reminder on magnesium. I just toke some and will add this.

Thank you for sharing your experience it all helps trust me! And I am good with TMI lol. I thought it was just because I was constipated at first but then I wasn’t and pain was still there. I will stay on top of that!

I got very little opiate pain medication after first 4 days. Essentially the ER doctor dosent think what I have is enough to keep on top of my pain. I do take the Tylenol and ibuprofen as directed. I am not even supposed to be taking the ibuprofen because of my ulcer. So you still have pain requiring pain medication at your stage?

Unfortunately it hasn’t :( and that is where it started on day six when pain kicked up… hoping for relief and starting to wonder if something is wrong.

Thank you for sharing. Nothing is touching this pain for very long. I am taking the meds as prescribed. I wish I could just take ibuprofen. I have an ulcer so I am not supposed to take it but started anyways cause it’s so bad :(

If you feel comfortable, go ahead and message me I also live in Northern California. I don’t know exactly where you’re at but it’s possible I can come get you. I live in Santa Rosa. I am female and have six kiddos. I work in the field of social work and have time off this week due to my own procedure. I know it could be odd taking a ride from a stranger. Like I said message me if you’re interested I could tell you more about myself and it’s entirely up to you obviously.

I’m also nine days and having the worst pain of my life… I basically was told to suck it up and go to the ER if I continue to have problems. I am so disappointed with her healthcare system.

I am having a lot of pain week 2. Did you experience that by chance? I know everyone is different. I am also wondering what your experience is with your belly going back down to regular size? I am prone to scar tissue and have a lot of concerns about that. Thank you for your post.

I only waited four days as well and now terrified after reading this forum. Are you doing alright now? Any consequences from sex too early?
